  • perform many of the same types of jobs found in the community.
  • explore 264 jobs spread throughout 5 different industry types (called components).
  • tend to find out they can do things they didn’t know they could do before PAES.
  • often surprise caregivers, parents and teachers with all they accomplish in the lab.
  • learn workplace “soft skills” and are rewarded for appropriate workplace behaviors.
  • communicate with parents using the Daily Points Record.
  • are provided scaffolded supports through the use of job subtasks.
